Presma

PRESMA SpA Company, established in 1937, is located in Torba di Gornate Olona (VA), 10 Km about from the Milan-Malpensa airport. The Company employs 50 workers in a covered space of 7.000 sqm, placed on 20.000 sqm land.

Presma produces injection moulding machines for thermoplastic materials processing, either compact or expanded, co-injected, gas assisted and even re-cycled. The production range covers over 100 different machine models, with clamping powers from 60 to 6000 kN, mould-holder plates till 1.860×1.860 mm; machines with 1, 2 or 3 modular stations and rotary multi-station type from 2 to 20 stations, with mould opening/closing either horizontal or vertical; injection units either by reciprocating screw or transfer system (melting screw and injection piston); standard, co-injection (sandwich structure) or multi-colour injection heads; working isles with one or more injection presses and robots for the moulding of multi-colours items; vertical clamping presses, with shuttle or rotary table, for the two half-mould bottoms.  Some presses are suitable for the shoe industry; accessories and shoe lasts.

Since 2009 Presma have been involving in the processing of rubber and solid and liquid silicone.

Recent applications are represented by presses and/or multi-station isles for: cork-like plastic caps for wine and spirits, overmoulding pipe fittings on pipes and plugs on electric cables for household appliances, pedestal blocks in recycled PVC up to 45 kg, tools and housekeeping accessories having multi colour/material handles.
